Fire Safety Certificate
Fire safety certificate - a document issued by a certification body in the field of fire safety, containing an assessment and confirmation of the compliance of manufactured products with established regulations, confirming that the manufactured product meets the basic requirements of technical regulations and fire safety standards: it is resistant to ignition and is non-toxic when ignited.
A fire safety certificate can be issued on a mandatory and voluntary basis.
Depending on the features and type of goods, its assessment and determination of compliance with standards is carried out by declaring or certification. Some manufacturers may use such certification voluntarily, even if the products they manufacture are not included in the list of goods subject to the mandatory procedure. It is also possible to issue a Refusal (explanatory letter) for fire certification, provided that the goods are not included in the mandatory list of certified, our company provides services for issuing that.

- Sending samples for testing purposes to the laboratory
- Obtaining a test report and uploading the document to the register of the Federal State Information Service of the Federal Accreditation Service

Documents submitted by the applicant for issuing a fire certificate
- An application for a fire certificate indicating the nature of the procedure - mandatory or voluntary
- The set of statutory and the registration documentation of the manufacturer or supplier of products
- TS, GOST or the other regulatory document on the basis of which the products are manufactured
- Technical and operational documentation for the product - the data sheet, instructions for proper use, drawings, diagrams, etc.
- If available - protocols and reports of previous product tests
- If available - previously issued fire certificates of conformity
Product List
Products subject to the mandatory fire certification
Products that are mandatory subject to the fire safety certification are approved by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 241 dated March 17, 2009. If the products are included in this list, then the fire certificate is a mandatory document.
Confirmation of compliance with fire safety requirements is subject to:
- Products operating as a part of the smoke ventilation
- Special equipment
- Other equipment for firefighters
- Tool for a special work
- A set of stationary technical means of fighting fire with the help of a fire extinguishing agent (Further - OGTV)
- Fire protection equipment, fire extinguishers
- PPE; overalls for employees of services working with open fire
- Means used to save a person from high-altitude levels
- Fire hydrants and cabinets
- The head PPE, legs, hands for working with fire
- Independent fire extinguishing devices
- Mobile fire fighting equipment
- APS (automatic installation of fire alarm), Fire Alarm and Evacuation Management System (SOE)
- Technical means operating as part of the AFS
- Electrical devices: electrical circuit protection devices, electrical cables
- Robotic fire extinguishing installations
- Wooden electrical goods
- Some types of building structures and finishing materials
Fire certificate validity
Validity periods for products depend on the certification scheme:
Products manufactured in series and certified according to the schemes: 2s - no more than 1 year; 3s - no more than 3 years; 4s and 5s - no more than 5 years.
For a batch of products or a single product (certification according to schemes 6c and 7c), the validity period of the certificate will be equal to the shelf life (service life) of the product.
If the service life is not set by the manufacturer, then the certificate is valid for 1 year.

The Federal Law "Technical Regulations on Fire Safety Requirements" (dated July 22, 2008 No. 123-FL) establishes the following schemes:
